The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 has been a best-selling truck for about as long as we can remember. The 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is versatile enough to please just about every pickup buyer, from someone looking for a capable work truck to drivers who want a comfortable daily driver. If you’ve been searching for the perfect truck, you should take a look at the Silverado.

There are a few notable changes this year. A 7-inch touchscreen is now standard. It comes with a rearview camera and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. LT and LTZ models can now get the available eAssist package, which was previously only offered in select dealerships in California. eAssist comes with a stop-start system that makes the Silverado more fuel efficient when driving in city traffic.

Car and Driver applauded the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, writing: “Chevrolet’s weapon in the ever-raging truck wars is the rugged, adaptable, and trusty Silverado 1500. A range of engines—including a V-6, three V-8 choices, a turbocharged four-cylinder, and a diesel inline-six—means there’s a Silverado for any job. On the road, the big truck drives smaller than it is; handling is surprisingly agile, and the suspension delivers a smooth ride.”

Extended cabs are offered in WT, LS, Custom, LT and LTZ trims. Crew cabs are available in all these trim levels, as well as the top-line High Country.
